Quang Nguyen

I want to wake up feeling inspired to build things that help people.

If I had a superpower, I would want to turn back time, not to change anything, but to experience it all once again.

I was born and raised in Hanoi, where I fell in love with mathematics. In high school, I founded TEDxHanoiAmsterdamHS. I went on to study at Virginia Tech in the US, and I’m now at NTU Singapore, studying electrical engineering with a minor in artificial intelligence. I’m also building Noteshell to shape the future of work through multi-agent automation.

Right now

  • Building Noteshell.

  • Researching how AI coding agents learn in large codebases, and when they learn to exploit their tests instead of solving the problem.

An agent rewarded for passing tests can fix the code, or quietly edit the tests. Both look like success to a weak check; only one is.
